My daughter's !! It was a homespun, very personal wedding with almost everything handmade ( by me ! ) and 18 months of planning turned into the most perfect happy day !!
Feminine, romantic, detailed, vintage, perfection
I am most proud of the relationship I build with my clients - getting to know my Brides is paramount for me so i can ensure that they are 100 % happy with all my work .
ENJOY !!! Most of all enjoy every minute of your wedding planning - do as much as you can together, make your own choices ( it your wedding day ! ) and be positive ! The day will go so fast so make the most of the planning !!
I love it when the couples pooch is ring bearer !! He is part of the family and it's so nice when puppy get's to go to the wedding too !!
I usually meet my Brides and Grooms at Wedding Fairs/ open events and firstly they book a complimentary first consultation . This is to establish what accessories are required and talk a bout the gown design , venue , theme of the wedding etc- all these factors play a part in what I will design. During this meeting I will drawn up some initial ideas, we will look at beads, fabrics etc and then I will mail a detailed quote within 24 hours . After that, if the client wishes to go ahead with the order, a second appointment is scheduled during which I will take a 50% non- returnable deposit and commence work on the accessories. I keep in close contact with mails full of photos and I am also happy for brides to come for interim appointments to look at the progress. On completion a collection date is organised !
I love the diversity !! Everyday is different - I am either designing , making , seeing clients , planning styled shoots , updating social media with new products, attending Wedding Fairs and Open Days - I work most days a 12 hour day but that is because I love it !!
Ethereal and romantic - lots of Vintage lace , delicate beadwork and Tulle of course !
I often sew a tiny blue silk bow onto a garter but it's also fun to have a bit of glam and stitch Sapphire Swarovski crytals on a garter - my brides love this look !!
It has to be the gown that Ralph Lauren designed in 2011 for his future Daughter in Law Lauren Bush - it was just perfection!
