Welcomed into the shop and went through all the information of the wedding, what dress I wanted and the budget. When picking dresses and trying them on I was made to feel confident and relaxed. Alison knew what other dresses to try and ended up going for one of her picks! Lovely experience by all.

The most amazing experience at Townhouse Bridal. As someone who felt like they had no clue what they wanted Alison helped me figure out that I did have a style and vibe in mind and then matched that to the most beautiful dress which I would never have picked out for myself. Felt truly magical, was made to feel like I was a priority with the 90 min private consultation in such a lovely setting and for an amazing price too! She also provided a list of seamstress’ one of which I’ve managed to secure despite the tight turn around for our August wedding

A truly wonderful experience for a shy bride. There can be a lot of ‘expectation’ when it comes to trying on and choosing your wedding dress. I initially went to Townhouse Bridal to try on different styles of wedding dresses and see which I liked, but ended up finding ‘the’ dress! The shop itself is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the fact that we had the shop to ourselves so that I could feel comfortable in front of the 3 people I took with me to discuss and evaluate in front of the mirror. As a bride without a Pinterest board of ideas and if being honest, someone who was a little overwhelmed by the whole wedding planning process, Alison could not have done any more to make me feel at ease and to help me work out what I was looking for. The meeting started with a chat about what it was I liked and things I know I definitely didn’t like and then Alison gave us the chance to have a look around and suggested a few options to try (within my price range). I was given the time to try on, discuss and re-try multiple dresses and at no time did I feel under any pressure to buy or stretch my budget . The atmosphere was lovely, the dresses that are stocked are so varied and the experience was perfect! I’ve even since been back to buy balmy bridal accessories! Will 100% be recommending Townhouse Bridal!

How lovely to go into a shop and feel totally at ease from the very beginning. It goes without saying that Townhouse Bridal has stunningly beautiful dresses and beautiful bridal accessories but what makes this shop special is Alison. After reading many amazing reviews I decided to book an appointment with Alison hoping, but not expecting, to find THE dress. Alison has an abundance of patience and I actually lost count of how many dresses I tried on! She listened carefully to what I liked and didn’t like and used this information to get closer to my dream dress. I never once felt pressured into buying. I can honestly say I had the best time with Alison trying on so many gorgeous dresses. The dress I bought is stunning and I feel absolutely amazing in it, I didn’t actually want to take it off! Alison provided me with a list of contacts for alterations and great advice about shoes. Alison went above and beyond to help me find the right dress for my size and frame and I feel very lucky indeed to have found such a knowledgeable, insightful and wonderful person to help me find my wedding dress. Found my wedding dress!! It was the first store I’ve been too, I wasn’t expecting to get it that day but it felt so right! Alison was so lovely, made me relaxed straight away! She knew exactly what she was doing and made me so comfortable. I was very anxious going in but she broke the ice quickly by asking the right questions and the anxiety quickly went into excitement. The store is so clean and spacious, had so much room to move about in and see how you feel in the dresses. Very professional but also so welcoming and personal in the best way, like a friend helping you made the biggest decision you could ever make. I couldn’t of asked for a better day!
