One bride at a time - When you book with us, your appointment is exclusively for you, we only have one bridal party in at a time so you will have our full attention, which is perfect for anxious and shy brides.
Experienced staff - Our staff are experts on body shaping and will know exactly which styles will highlight your shape, so after you have made your choice on which dresses to try, we may pull a few "wild cards" too!
Inclusivity - The dress samples are fully inclusive and we hold sizes 6 - 32 in store.
Brides love the fact that they can dress the full bridal party with us and make sure all colours match, we store the gowns until your ready to collect for alterations and then continue to store until the big day! All gowns are professionally steamed prior to collection giving the dresses the perfect finish all at no extra cost.
On the day bridal dressing service - We arrive on the morning of the wedding and re-steam all the dresses, to deal with those niggly creases that may occur during transportation. Assist with the dressing of the bridemaids/Flower girl/ MOB, assist the bride getting into her dress. Dress positioning of all the dresses for the pre- ceremony photos and for the perfect arrival into the ceremony. Assist with fiddly necklaces and bracelets. We carry a full sewing kit with spare buttons, hooks and all coloured sewing thread, stain remover for those last minute emergencies. All this allows the bridal party to relax and enjoy the day whilst we deal with everything else! (This service is an additional cost and subject to location)
Most brides generally start looking 12-18 months prior to their wedding.
Depending on the dress usually 10 weeks, however we do have a selection of dresses which are available on a next day delivery.
No, alterations are an additional cost.
No, unfortunately not, but we do have a list of recommended seamstresses.
You are welcome to take your dress once it arrives, however we are happy to store it for you at no extra cost until the wedding.
A 50% deposit is required when you order the dress, the balance is then due once the dress arrives and at the time of the first fit. If you have chosen a dress that arrives the next day then the balance is required 10 weeks after delivery. (Payment plans are available on request)
You will have some basic measurements taken at the time of ordering, however, all of our dresses are standard sizing and not made to measure, this means that if you are a size 18 top but a 14 at the waist the dress will need to be ordered to fit the biggest size and then adjusted accordingly. Even if the dress is a good fit, the chances are you will still need the hem adjusted and a few tweaks.
Unfortunately, once we have ordered the dress its yours as we have had to pay for it and we are not able to return it to the wholesaler, however we do offer a delayed measuring service (details on request)
No, Bridal Wholesalers will not accept returns unless faulty, and then it is only for a replacement and not a refund. In line with all bridal shops, if a deposit is paid it is non-refundable under any circumstances as we have had to pay for the dress. If the order is cancelled after the full balance is paid then a refund can be offered at our discretion but only 50% of the full cost of the dress.
Of course, but we recommend no more than 4 people, more than this can quickly become overwhelming as everyone's opinions will differ and they will naturally point out dresses that they like as opposed to what they think you will. Ideally bring a couple of people who you trust to be honest but not critical, then if you find 'the one' bring the whole party back for a big reveal appointment!
