Established in 2011, By Rose Savage design studio is located in Bristol’s ‘Bohemian’ quarter, nestled between coffee bars and hip restaurants. Maybe you’ve visited various traditional bridal shops and tried on a few ‘nice’ dresses but your dream dress is nowhere to be found? The moment you walk through the door into my light and airy atelier you know you’ve entered a place where magic happens! The biggest part of having something custom made is that you don’t have to compromise on your personal style. Looking for a chic, 70s inspired bridal jumpsuit? No problem. Hand-dyed, kimono style, silk chiffon gown? I got you. Anything is possible when you take control of your wedding look, and I have a passion for making it happen. The process will start with an informal chat to discuss your ideas and inspirations and I’ll sketch up a few designs until we have something really special. With a huge range of fabric samples at my studio, you can feel and drape them to find the perfect ones to match your design. Whether it’s Sequins or Silks, Tulles or Taffeta, I source the most beautiful textiles so you can have a dress as individual as you are. The next step on the bespoke journey is creating a ‘toile’ or prototype of your outfit using your unique measurements so we can check the proportions and fit. Once the dress is made in the final fabrics we will keep fitting and tweaking until you are totally happy and it fits you like a glove. The process is totally collaborative and my brides have a say at every step of the process so you are in full control of your dress’s creation!
