What is your most memorable wedding?
We don't get to attend the weddings we work on, so we have to make sure the journey to the final fitting is exciting and memorable for all our brides
What about your business are you most proud of?

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be yourselves.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of our brides had pictures taken with her old sheepdog/collie, her childhood friend. The picture she sent us of her in her wedding dress with her beloved pet is probably my favourite of all time, her doggy's health was declining and they lost her soon after. Treasured memories.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We generally only meet one half of a couple with her relatives or friends. We will always ask about venue and if the bride has any particular theme for the day or style she'd like to achieve. We also ask mum/auntie/friend what they'd like to see her in, we find that they love to feel involved. Other questions include: How long until the wedding; any thoughts on dress style; any pictures she's pinned (or screenshotted); favourite features on any dresses or images she's seen; and we will work through likes and dislikes. Each bride & her entourage is encouraged to look at and feel the dresses on display. They select a few favourites and we will always make suggestions if we think something perfect has been overlooked. There is never any pressure, if she wants to sleep on it or think overnight, it's all good with us. We believe if it's the right dress, it will call her back!
What do you love most about your job?
The final fitting - seeing a bride in her very own dress, the completed look, the wedding is almost here, how much her confidence has grown since the first nervous try on appointment. That excitement is just fabulous!
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
I have sat for too long trying to figure this one out - some days it's boho soft lace, others it's a classic silk ballgown. I think the main theme running through our collection is that each dress has something unique about it, every bride is individual and we think the dress should be a beautiful reflection of that.
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
There are many! A couple of our designers add a tiny blue bow to the inside of the gown. We've had a bride who had a blue shirt from her late father - our seamstress added a little heart made from it, placed inside her dress level with her own heart. We've had tiny pale blue crystals in hair accessories, and also brides who've worn blue shoes!
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
Got to be Cinderella's wedding dress in the ladybird book I had as a child. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! This has made me want to go online now looking for a copy of the book!
