I am so happy with the service from Fairytale Occasions. Having already bought my dress before relocating to Wiltshire, Nikki carried out my alterations so the dress fitted perfectly! 5****

Five stars, definitely! I couldn’t have been happier with Fairytale Occaisions and Nikki (the owner). From the first appointment through to collecting my dress, everything was perfect. I first visited Fairytale Occaisions with three friends and was encouraged to try on as many dresses as I liked. This gave me an idea of which style I liked and what felt right for me. I chose the beautiful Suzanne by Wendy. Job done! But then I started thinking about ball gowns again and how bridal I felt in them, especially for our traditional Church service. When I chatted to Nikki about this we came up with a solution, a detachable tulle skirt. Perfect, two dresses in one. Nikki created the pattern herself and made it with layers of beautiful honey tulle and an ivory satin belt. I was over the moon with the result and had a truly unique and bespoke wedding dress which fitted me like a glove. I had my ball gown for the traditional part of our wedding and a slinkier dress for the evening to party in. I felt probably the best I’d ever felt due to the confidence it gave me. I should say the fittings are reasonable compared to other boutiques and everything is done in-house, so your dress never leaves the boutique until you collect it. Nikki does the adjustments herself and nothing is too much trouble. On my final fitting and 10 days before my wedding, I realised that I’d forgotten to get a veil. Nikki kept me calm and we ordered one, this came into the boutique within the week, problem solved. The service I received was extremely high and my dress and skirt were steamed and pressed to perfection on collection. I highly recommend this boutique especially if you are looking to put bespoke touches to your dress. Nikki is wonderfully creative and her expertise shows in her beautiful work. Nikki has been fantastic from the beginning. She squeezed me in for an appointment at short notice and was so welcoming. I was able to take my time trying and retrying a variety of dresses and Nikki was really open and honest which helped. I found the perfect dress and Nikki helped me to make sure I had it in time and it was fitted beautifully. I think the most important thing was that I trusted Nikki from the start and even when dates were getting close, I trusted her completely. I couldn't be happier with my dress and the service I received. Thank you for your contribution to what was the most perfect day!

I had the best experience with fairy tale occasions. Not only did she help me pick my dream dress but she helped me with all my alterations on my dress. Nothing I wanted was too much for her to do. Amazing bridal shop and would definitely recommend anyone looking for a wedding dress to visit here.

I had my wedding dress, underskirt, bridesmaids dresses and mother of the bride dress altered. She does all the alterations herself and is very knowledgeable. She is very friendly, flexible and made me feel at ease. She did a great job, I would go back to her and recommend her to family and friends.

Sorry it's taken so long to give you some feedback, but I wanted to take the time to really thank you for all your help during my first ever appointment to try on wedding dresses. You were to patient and chilled out with us and it really helped me relax and enjoy the day, you let me try on sooooooo many dresses of all different shapes and styles to truly understand what suited me best and nothing was too much trouble from finding matching accessories to shoes etc. Needless to say finding my dream dress with you was an absolute breeze and so much fun, I only wish I could do it all again! I would happily highly recommend your boutique to anyone looking for their dream dress as your selection was just beautiful, I loved them all but none as much as "my" dress ??

When I walked into the little shop in Highworth I wasn't expecting to find ‘the dress’. At this point I’d been to all the big dress suppliers with racks and racks of dresses and I thought this little boutique was unlikely to beat the choice. I admit that I was REALLY wrong! The stock you have it perfect, simple, stylish and unique. I fell in love with more than one dress and haven’t stopped grinning since. This shop not only saved the day....but the owner was attentive, helpful and most of all, normal! You can visit 100 stuffy shops where assistants stare at you, tell you utter nonsense and try to flog you a dress. There’s only a few that will let you take your time and enjoy the experience. I would gladly and wholeheartedly recommend Fairytale Occasions to any bride who is looking for a great experience with someone who cares.

Not being a girly girl I panicked at the thought of picking a wedding dress. My fiance also proposed to me whilst my Mum was dying of cancer so not an easy time. When I actually saw Nikki for my first dress appointment I had only lost my Mum the week before. I couldn't of been in safer hands as Nikki made the whole experience easy as possible. I managed to find a dress on that day which turned out to be perfect. She also designed and made my nieces bridemaid dress which again was perfect. I'd highly recommend Nikki.

Lovely staff and done an amazing job on my dress.

I'm delighted with my wedding dress alterations. I had the length taken up both at the waistband and at the hem to avoid losing the beading at the bottom. The alterations are beautifully hand sewn, the dress multi layered with a slip and beaded couture sheath. The alterations have been done in such a way that they may be easily undone for resale. Very attentive and knowledgeable service, professional and efficient, I was never made to feel rushed, it seemed important to Fairytale to ensure I was happy. Good job, I trusted Fairytale on recommendation from another store whom were too busy at the time. Pleased I found them and will definitely use them again should I have another special occasion.
