Thank you for visiting me here on Bridebook! My name's Sarah, and I'm your bridal accessory BFF, helping you find the perfect hair accessory for your wedding.
Hair Accessories:
I create a range of headpieces, including hair vines, tiaras, combs and pins, and my style is mostly delicate and intricate, with a few bolder elements, depending on the bride!
I work with you to create an accessory that works with your hair type, style and colour, including details you love and leaving out ones you don't (not everyone's a fan of pearls for example). This means that you can incorporate your wedding colours or details from your dress and flowers to tie everything in together.
My home studio is based in Weston-super-Mare, but I work with brides across the UK and internationally, thanks to the wonders of Zoom meetings!
Prices vary from £50 to £300, depending on the details, and payment plans are available to spread the cost if you'd like to.
Brooch Bouquets:
Brooch bouquets are intricate alternatives to floral bouquets. They are made from jewellery that is wired together to create the shape of your chosen bouquet. You can include your own sentimental jewellery if you'd like to, making them a perfect combination of something old, new, borrowed and blue (I sneak a little blue crystal in to each one for good luck!).
Your bouquet will also have a small watch face in it, set to the time of your wedding so that you'll always have a reminder of the time you started walking down the aisle.

Following that, I'll send across some ideas for you to consider and you can decide whether you'd like to go ahead. Your accessory can be secured with a deposit or
2. You can purchase some designs directly from my online shop. Each accessory is made to order, giving you some flexibility if you'd like to change some colours.

What is your most memorable wedding?
They've all been memorable! Most of my brides have become friends as we've worked so closely together and each wedding has had its own special something that sums up the couple completely, which, to me, makes a wedding memorable.

Delicate, elegant, feminine, botanical, sentimental.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud every time my bride sees her accessory for the first time and the smile spreads across her face!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay true to yourselves and you won't go wrong. Don't feel pressured to follow trends that don't suit your style.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My favourite personal touches are always the sentimental ones, like my bride, Katie, who incorporated her grandmother's pearls and her grandfather's watch into her brooch bouquet and felt like her grandparents were with her on her wedding day, Helena, who had pins inspired by Forget-Me-Nots in memory of her grandfather, and Nikki, who incorporated a huge, colourful flamingo brooch in to her hair vine to match her incredible colourful hair and vibrant personality.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Most of my brides book a consultation through my website and we meet over Zoom to chat about their wedding plans and ideas. It's a great opportunity to get a feel for each other, because I believe if you book the right suppliers for you, wedding planning goes much smoother.
After our Zoom call, I send across some designs for you to consider and make changes to, and then, when you're happy, you can pay a deposit to secure your accessory.
I offer my brides the option to pay all at once, or to spread the cost.
I keep you updated with videos and photos throughout the process, so you can join me on the journey making your hair accessory or bouquet! I also dedicate a blog post to you after your wedding day and create an Instagram reel that you can download and keep.

What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
I add a little blue crystal discretely in to some pieces, or attach one to the box so you can stitch it into something yourself.
