What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding is so special to us and we love to being a little part of their day. Over the past two years we have become great friends with so many of our Brides and our first Edith & Winston Baby was born in December 2016.

What about your business are you most proud of?
A year after we opened our amazing brides voted in the 2015 British Plus Size Awards and we won the award for 'Best Bridal Range'. We are currently the only award recipients in the North-West.
But I am most proud of the friendships that have been made and the memories of beautiful brides finding their wedding dresses here at Edith & Winston Bridalwear. We even have our own private Facebook group for past, present and future brides of Edith & Winston. A place to chat, ask questions and show off their wedding photographs. This is a body positive group run by Becca.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Research! Brides often mistake the length of time that it takes for a wedding dress to arrive. Research the boutique's and ask lots of questions before you book in your appointment. Ideally brides need to start looking 12 to 9 months before the date of your wedding. Look at boutique's that specialise in Plus Size or have a selection of gowns sized 18+.
What do you love most about your job?
I love when a bride finds the one! It's always super exciting to see when she realises that this is the dress she will be wearing on her big day. I love when brides can't stop smiling and the family see how excited and happy she is.
I also love working on my own photo shoots, bringing Plus Size inspiration to my social media followers. I love coming up with an idea and see it happen on a shoot and then being able to share my images on wedding blogs and with my brides. Someone said 'Becca just basically likes organizing mini weddings' and it's possibly the most accurate thing anyone has ever said! I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my photoshoots, websites and the gowns that I have inside the boutique. I care very much about the brides first impression and that we are the right boutique for her to visit. Plus Size bridalwear is my passion and I love the way the bridal industry is moving forward each year. So if I'm not with a bride, I am probably on a photoshoot!
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
My favourite style of wedding dress changes depending on who is wearing the dress. There is no-one particular style that I love any more than any another, I just love seeing them on my brides and their different body shapes. It takes me a long time to decide on what styles come into the boutique, as like I said I am a bit of a perfectionist and so I analyse and critique the gowns, to make sure that they are designed to suit a fuller figure. We like to have a large mix of styles so that every bride can find the one.
