At Dana Dallal Bridal, we design and make all of our gowns in London to the highest standards in the industry. Dana Dallal launched her first designer bridalwear collection in the Spring of 2016. Her Luxury collection offers a modern and directional approach to wedding dresses. Dana has held a range of positions within some of the top London design houses before setting up her own label. Faced with preparing for her own wedding, she was initially shocked to find how few modern dress options there were for brides who love fashion. Stemming from her own very personal experience, she set out to create a range of contemporary and fashion forward dresses that are of the highest quality. Bridal dresses that are strikingly modern yet timeless are winning the brand ever growing interest from magazine editors, stylists and brides. The collections are designed and produced in London with a focus on high quality and uses only the finest silks and French laces coupled with hand embroidery in glass beads and metallic threads. The brand believes in creating luxury garments that reject the idea of the traditional bridal ‘costume’ and instead pushes the concept of bridal wear into the contemporary fashion movement.

What about your business are you most proud of?

We take immense pride in our fits and quality and we don't ever cut corners.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Get a videographer! I know a lot of couples don't but your day passes so quickly and its really nice to have the ceremony and speeches recorded. The day will be such a whirlwind that you will forget so many details and its amazing seeing it all after.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I went to a lovely wedding where the bride had found photos of all her guests and put them in a sweet miniature frame to show where your seat was at the tables.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We do a lot of home fittings for our clients around London. Our bride usually selects 3 styles that she wants to try on in the comfort of her own home and we bring those samples along to the fittings (along with a bottle of bubbly and some glasses!) After she decides on her favourite, we usually take her measurements and keep them on file for when she orders so the dress will fit like a dream. A few months later, the dress is all ready and we have a fitting at our studio to try the dress on with a master seamstress who will nip and tuck and hem the dress to the perfect length and fit. A couple weeks later, Voila! The dress arrives and is collected.

What do you love most about your job?

I love the social aspect, the meetings with brides, I love when a bride tries the one dress on that she loves and you can see her face light up.

What is your favourite style of wedding dress?

My favourite styles are always layerless, easy dresses that you can dance in. I wore a strapless dress to my own wedding but there are so many amazing options that I find it hard to choose.

What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?

I wore a blue dress! I don't expect everyone to go that far but we can always arrange for some hand embroidery on the hem of the dress or on the sleeve. Our brides have had their wedding date embroidered on or sometimes initials or a favourite phrase or word.

What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?

I would have to say I love Kate Moss' perfectly modern yet bohemian gown but my personal ultimate all time favourite is the dress worn by Katie Shillingford (Fashion Editor at Dazed and Confused) it was custom made by Gareth Pugh and is an amazing mix of modernity with a touch of gothic inspiration
