What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding is totally unique to us... every couple we meet have a specific idea on their style, theme and colours and we just love to be involved in every aspect of the planning process. Many of our Brides keep in touch and have become friends!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Our studio is cosy and there is a warm atmosphere. We cater for all shapes and sizes and try to keep every one of our sample gowns different so there is plenty of choice.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our feedback on Facebook is amazing - every comment is 5 stars and we have been nominated for County Brides Customer service award for 3 years running!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
As much as a wedding day is a family affair, we strongly advice that you try and do things your way and not be pushed into something after being pressured into it. We have seen so many Brides torn over decision makers as she has tried to please everyone - it's YOUR big day so politely say, thanks for your advice but...and smile!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We love to see handmade favours that are individual to each wedding guest. This is rare as many people simply don't have enough spare time!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We tend to already have a history with our Brides as they have either been recommended by their friends or have already been to us as a Bridesmaid and it's now their turn to wear the white dress! We are very down to earth so there is no need to be nervous!
What do you love most about your job?
There is so much job satisfaction when you see the look on not only a Brides face when she has found 'the one' but on her family and friends too. We also love to hear the excited screaming when they leave the shop and we absolutely love to see wedding pictures when they're sent to us.
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
Every wedding dress is amazing for many different reasons. And if one isn't to my particular taste or it doesn't suit my body shape, it would look perfect on someone else... there is a dress out there for everyone!
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
Our underskirts are made of the finest quality fabric so it doesn't cause scratching or irritation to the skin but also, there is a blue ribbon sewn to it!
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
There are so many wedding dresses that are absolutely amazing but I think one that will remain timeless is Kate's... whether you like it or not, it was perfect for the occasion and venue. I think it will stand the test of time without a doubt.
