It has to be a bride I had who came to me 2 weeks before her wedding...her dress had not arrived at the shop she had ordered it from! I promise this story ends well....She was quite emotional when she first called me to tell me what had happened but I said I could fit her in that day. She found a dress she loved and thankfully my seamstress was able to see her quickly too. The best moment for me was when she sent me some photos of the day and said that in the end she had much preferred the dress she had got from me. So all was well :)

Homemade lemon curd and chutneys for all their guests
I really enjoy seeing a bride on her own or with one other close relative/friend. First of all I ask her if she has tried on other dresses, if so what she likes and what she doesn't. We normally spend about 2 hours together.
The fun time I have with my brides trying on dresses and the moment they find the one! Also receiving the photo of their day months later is absolutely wonderful.
OOOh that is tricky as I would normally say a vintage-inspired gown from the 1930s but I love a structured gown - I have Stewart Parvin gown at the moment which has a 'bardot' style/off the shoulder top with fit and flare shape at the bottom and I just adore it and can't believe no-one has snapped it up!
I love how some wedding dress designers sew a blue button or bow into the inside of the dress as incorporating blue into an ivory dress isn't easy - so best it is hidden I think!
My wedding dress - a sample Jenny Packham gown called Roseberry. Although I think the Duchess of Cambridge's Sarah Burton for McQueen dress is one of the best of all time!
