What is your most memorable wedding?
A friend of the owner popped in with his girlfriend for a cup of tea and catch up one Saturday. We were trying on new stock and asked if she would mind helping us....she jumped at the chance and joked "Its my only opportunity as we're never getting married". Little did she know that her partner was organising a surprise engagement and wedding in Santorini. When we tried her in one dress she cried (we knew we had found the "one") we measured it to check it was as it should be being new and all :-)
We organised the alterations and our owner flew to Santorini and surprised her with the dress and accessories on her wedding day - It was magical!

What about your business are you most proud of?
We are now serving the 3rd generation of our 1976 brides - its magical having a past bride come back with her daughter or grand daughter!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be strong with your guest lists and choose everything that is right for you as a couple - Its YOUR day and everyone else can have theirs the way they want it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A garter was worn by one of our brides with a photograph of her grandmother on it - the garter was originally hers.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We will send out a pre appointment info form to get a feel for the wedding and the brides style ahead of her 1.5 hour appointment. Every bride is different and the choice of styles is huge, through trying on and feedback we narrow down the brides preferences to find the perfect gown.
What do you love most about your job?
The look on a brides face when she finds "the one" - the emotion in the store is infectious, we often have the tissue out :-)
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
My personal style is simple but BIG, I love our Ballgowns but opted for a full length lace fishtail for my big day in September 2019
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
Shoes!
