What is your most memorable wedding?
My brother's wedding in 2008 was great fun - in the heart of East London, it was a multicultural mishmash with Dhol drummers, the bride wearing red and a hired tricycle from Christiania Bikes which my brother used to transport his new wife, my niece and his unborn second child to their reception in the local community hall. Very unlike anything Ive ever been to but it was just so them.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Reviews and recommendations are worth far more than a front page Google ranking. Listen to your friends' experiences and look for the personal touch from your suppliers. If they don't seem to get you then look elsewhere til you find someone who does.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The bride's father was a vicar so he performed the ceremony - very special.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I don't work with couples as a rule - just the bride. It's a matter of welcoming her and her entourage in store with a cuppa or some bubbly, finding out what she likes and dislikes and making her feel good about herself. She an choose as many dresses as she like to try on for her hour's appointment (no one else can come in the shop during this time) and if she needs advice with alteration tips, accessories or other styles that might suit then I can offer that. Emotional intelligence and sensitivity are critical to helping her have a positive experience.
What do you love most about your job?
Everyone is so happy! It's so refreshing to never have a 'bad day' at work!!
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
I love a full skirt, so a classic A-line for me. We had a fantastic floral satin Vera Wang dress in store when we opened that I adored - full skirted, with pockets - truly magical.
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
Why not go for a Pantone blue wedding dress - a bit bolder and a bit different but very on trend for 2017. If you prefer something a little more understated then a piece of sapphire jewellery is a classic touch.
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
It's that Vera Wang White Collection dress again. It was a great price but just so different - and it even had pockets! What's not to love?! There's a stock picture of it on our Pinterest page at http://pin.it/pAjXP8o
