we travelled up from Bedfordshire to try on a specific dress. The ladies had the dress at the ready along with a few others as this was my first dress shopping experience. We played fancy dress which was great fun but ultimately the original dress WAS THE ONE! The ladies made this a wonderful experience and there customising and dying of fabrics is incredible and i cannot wait to have my ombre veil and beautiful dream dress for the big day x

Bex does something different to other bridal shops. I thought I would not be able to find a unique dress in the north east however my friend recommended bex. This was the first place I went to and only the second Dress that I tried on. The dress wasn't on display however I showed bex a couple of pics of the style I was going for and she brought out two dresses and the second one was just perfect! I was really nervous About looking for a dress but the experience with bex was great.

Visited Bex brides for 1950's style dress. Tried on dress which wasn't quite right, Bex immediately understood what I wanted and got to work straight away removing the bits I didn't like and I hadn't decided to buy it!, she knows what you want and what suits your figure. Her knowledge, eye for detail and sewing skills are second to none - the alterations and embellishments created a dress that was a one off" rather than "off the peg" and gave me my perfect wedding dress."

I was not your typical bride. I visited bex 3rd put of 12 bridal shops. Then came back as most other places had all the same dresses with sweetheart necks and big skirts. Bex was the first place we found a really varied range of dresses. I was very picky and particular about what i wanted and bex accommodated me with everything. Including helping me figure out what to do with my hair while i was panicking 3 days before the wedding. She customised my dress and made it unique to me with teacups.
