What is your most memorable wedding?
We styled a gorgeous wedding at Wethele Manor at the end of Summer 2021. I had an instant connection with this beautiful couple. They had a clear idea of the colours and the look and feel they wanted in their decor, but gave me free reign to pull together a cohesive scheme, which included the smallest details such as place name cards, and table plan cards to a stunning ceiling where we styled the venues existing chandeliers with greenery and florals. There were so many styling opportunites, both inside and outside and I just loved how it all came together. The fabulous photographer captured every little detail beautifully which was an absolute bonus!
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am proud of the connection I build with my couples, and that their personalities are reflected in the styling of their day.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
It is your day, have it your way!
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
An Alice in Wonderland/Steam Punk Wedding. This was such a fabulous wedding with so many quirky features and so many opportunities for me to be creative! Everything from the table plan to the styling of the cake display and guestbook were so different and so unique!
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Elegant backdrops that are portable are proving very popular, especially broken arches that can be brought closer together for the Ceremony and then easily moved to the Wedding breakfast to sit behind the Top table.
Lilacs and purples look to be very on trend colours for the 2023 season.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
A statement piece. Whether this be a fabulous ceiling installation or a gorgeous backdrop, one item that makes your guests say "Wow" will be ensure your wedding styling is memorable.
