What is your most memorable wedding?
It will always be the first one! This is where The Wedding Nanny® was born! After professionally nannying for many years The Wedding Nanny became the first branch to our growing tree.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I have built this business from the ground up, I have spent extensive time building a team of caring dedicated nannies. I am extremely proud of the care and the service we provide.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
A day at home with the children can have its difficulties, however add a wedding day in to the mix changes the dynamics completely. To an adult you can process the need for things to run to plan and the roller-coaster of emotions, but to a child, the change in "their normal" and their routine potentially going out the window is to much for them to process. Expect the unexpected when it comes to children on days like your wedding day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Every wedding is different, but when heart felt words come from family and friends during the speeches this is always the most moving and enjoyable bit to see.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Firstly we start with a couple of questions to get a fell for what it is your are looking for. A face-time all will be arranged with Gemma to understand the exact requirements from the couple and to give them a chance to see us as people. Thinking of childcare on such a special day is a big deal. We then discuss their options and how you can get the most out of our service. We can then issue a quote or even a few quotes, and then when a couple decides to move forward with the booking we take a deposit to secure their wedding date. On the run up to the wedding we have a series of face time calls to discuss and finalise the plans for the day along with speaking to the children and familiarising them with ourselves.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
All weddings are beautiful we don’t have a favourite. Each one has a meaning, a reasoning and a speciality to the couple.
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Boho festival outdoor weddings along with rustic barn conversions.
What is your signature finishing touch?
That’s a surprise.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
Decorations is not our field of expertise, but we do know every wedding that has children needs us The Wedding Nanny!
