What is your most memorable wedding?
Our very first one. It was only a small wedding, with just chair covers, sash, tablecloths and centrepieces, but we had so much fun doing it, and the couple were so happy with the finished result. It really helped us believe in ourselves and our vision.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Quirky, unique, meticulous, adaptable, ever-changing
What about your business are you most proud of?
How far we have come, especially considering we started the business a month before COVID lockdown measures hit us!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Outsource as much work as you possibly can, it saves you so much stress, leaving you to enjoy your big day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of our early weddings was a Serbian Orthodox celebration and it was such a joyous occasion. Everyone who arrived purchased special buttonholes, that the bride and groom had hand made, as a way of gifting them money for their new life together.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initially we will establish either online, in person or via phone, what sort of style or themes you are looking for, and then send you lots of photos of our items, enabling you to decide if you would like to book with us. We then take a deposit and get to work! We will meet with you for a planning meeting at your venue to make all final decisions, however we are happy to have unlimited phone or online contact as much as needed to ensure you are completely happy with everything.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
I particularly love our Fairytale package, it is beautiful, but with a bit of a twist, and I love placing all the little Fairytale elements around for people to discover during the celebration.
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Sage green and gold is very popular this year, and they are a stunning combination. Natural themed weddings are always popular, particularly the autumn colours. We are finding more and more that chair drapes are replacing the traditional sashes.
What is your signature finishing touch?
We pride ourselves on making sure every element of your wedding is finished to perfection. Because of this we provide decor as a complete set up - for example our post boxes do not come as just a post box, but come with swags and flowers in your colours, candles etc, as do our cake stands, welcome signs, table plans and all other items. We believe every element of your wedding decor should be a statement piece.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
A welcome sign or set up. We offer various different welcome set ups, from gorgeous mirrors, to peacock chairs, to chalkboards. The welcome set up is the first thing your guests see as they arrive, so it should set the tone for your wedding, and compliment your theme and colours perfectly.
