I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Wendy and Jo are - they absolutely made our day, their incredible work and style is so beautiful. They have been incredible throughout the entire planning journey. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Jo and Wendy were truly fabulous!! They transformed the venue in the most spectacular way! We visited them on a few occasions at their studio to have a look at what they had and to get some ideas of what we were looking for and we couldn’t have been more impressed with the result!! The colours from their styling, with our florist arrangements matched so perfectly that, had we not known different, we wouldn’t have been able to tell they were from two different suppliers. They were wonderful on the day, setting up nice and early, and with the extra moving. We had our ceremony and reception in the same room and Jo and Wendy did amazingly well changing the room around in such a short time period! We were really really pleased with the results and it really did tie everything together beautifully! Choosing Make it Special Events was a fantastic choice and we will be forever thankful to them for helping make our day special!

I cannot praise Jo and her team highly enough they really went the extra mile for us. all the decorations were beautiful and there was alot of attention to detail they made our day feel magical.

I cannot begin to explain how unbelievably brilliant Jo and her team are. Jo from the beginning was fantastic! She made me feel relaxed and that I could trust her with my important day. You can tell how much she loves her job and how she has such an eye for detail. She understood exactly what I was looking for and made all the visions I had in my head come true. She even visited my venue two weeks before to trial her ideas and in doing so suggested much more beautiful ideas which I had never thought of. She never once was too busy for me if I wanted to pop over and discus a few bits (which I did more than once!). Everyone commented on how fantastic everything looked, especially the ceremony hut which when I first saw, nearly made me cry it was so fantastic. To Jo and the team, Thankyou so so much!! ❤️

What can I say! Make it Special events really outdone themselves. Our wedding at the badgers mount looked stunning! It really made my day perfect. I cannot recommend Make it Special Events enough! A beautiful service and everything I dreamed it would be. Thanks again...Mr & Mrs Churchill

We hired Jo & the Make It Special team for our wedding on July 20th 2018. We had lots of different things including the wishing well for our cards, blossom trees & our centrepieces! Jo was lovely when we went to meet her about 2 years ago & I kept in regular contact with her via email in the run up to the wedding. Jo was so professional & lovely & our wedding breakfast room looked amazing with the centrepieces etc. I would 100% recommend Jo to anyone looking for wedding decoration as her prices are very competitive also.

We hired Jo and the Make It Special team for our wedding on the 14th July 2019. From our first conversation I knew that we we're onto a winner as Jo was very attentive, listened and offered advice when needed. We had a few unusual and last minute requests, which Jo and the team went out of their way to accommodate, snd we are really thankful for this. On the day of the wedding I was a little apprehensive but I didn't need to worry as the venue and decorations we're absolutely stunning. We opted for the dusky pink ruffle hoods on the chairs, white blossom tree's on the tables along with the canopy blossom tree's with glass orbs which we're used to create an archway to stand under for the ceremony. When I walked down the aisle and saw everything for the first time I was completely blown away, it was magical and I felt like a proper princess. All of our guests also commented on how beautiful the decorations we're and will certain be the topic of conversation for many months to come. We booked Make It Special at fairly short notice after being let down by another company. Jo was really helpful and responded to emails very quickly which was reassuring. They provided a starlight backdrop, table runners and ceiling drapes. Everything looked beautiful! They liaised with our venue and everything was set up the night before. They arranged collection of everything through the hotel, so it was all hassle-free for us. We never had any issues with anything, but I’m confident that Jo would have worked hard to sort out any that arose. We highly recommend Jo and the Make It Special team!
