What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my couples who got engaged in Italy and had tables named after the places they visited on that trip and other touches such as an Italian dessert table. I loved this because it brought a personal touch and part of their love story into their wedding in a tasteful and beautiful way.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I will discuss their guest numbers, colour theme, theme, and look at the space I will be styling at their venue and discuss their budget for styling and any special touches we can incorporate. From there I will put together a design and quotation and once agreed I send over a detailed proposal. Once that is signed and their deposit is paid a confirmation and receipt is sent to them. 6-12 months before their wedding I will meet with them at their venue and walk through their decor and provide a practice of a guest table for them to make sure they are totally happy. 6 months before, 50% less their deposit is due and a month before once any guest number changes and tweaks are made their balance is due.
