What about your business are you most proud of?
The opportunity to be such an important part of a bride’s big day and the excitement knowing that every wedding is different, so you know that each and every event and project is going to be truly one-of-a-kind. There’s so much to think about when planning a wedding and so it’s great to know that we can make the organisation that little bit less stressful - plus when brides are being told not to stress over the ‘little details’, we really understand just how important the little details are! As we appreciate the importance of 'how many candles you have’ and ‘if the bunting colour matches the flowers’!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don’t stick to tradition! It's 2019, and so if you don't want a table plan then don't have one, and if you do, then go for it! At the end of the day, it's your wedding! Make sure you stick to your guns, as people will always have suggestions of how they think you should do things along the way, but don’t feel pressured to stick to traditional - make sure you plan the day you two want as a couple!
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
More is more! I always advise brides not to stick to tradition and make sure they plan their dream wedding, not anymore else's You don’t need to stick to a colour or decoration scheme, the best weddings I’ve seen have been those that clash a little, with plenty of fabulous flowers, greenery, colour, and rustic and metallic accents.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
You can’t go wrong with a milk churn or three filled with florals placed next to your rustic wooden arch that’s been adorned with fairy lights!
