What is your most memorable wedding?
Egton marquee. I was sharing the marquee with sheep whilst trying to set up. I loved that wedding, so many giggles.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Classy, sassy and a little giggly. If you can't have fun whilst working well........
What about your business are you most proud of?
I built the business from the ground up and started with nothing. I'm extremely proud of the hard work myself and my team have put in to it. And all whilst bringing up 2 children too. Yay, go us.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Budget budget budget. It's way to easy to go over and find things having to be cancelled last minute.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There was a giant picture of the couple on canvass in the hallway of the venue. This was there for guests to sign instead of a book and was to be hung in their home. I loved this idea.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Typical process would start with a free quotation given when requested, I will not follow this up unless contacted as I don't approve of chasing, especially as couples are so busy planning other things as well.
If further contact is made we will then arrange to meet in person and discuss exact requirements, if the couple then want to book, a small deposit is taken. Communications will continue then via phone and one further meeting in person close to the day to iron out final details and requirements. Full payment is taken 2 weeks prior to the date then we will see you there.
We do all the set up, take down , delivery and collection so you have no need to worry about a thing.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
Hahaha. A marvel wedding. All deadpool and spiderman themed, it was fantastic.
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Right now my brides are going all rustic, wood slices are extremely popular at the moment here.
What is your signature finishing touch?
If there is a top table I will always leave a bottle of champagne near the bride and groom seating, to help with the celebrations of course.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
This is completely down to likes and dislikes of the bride and groom. I can advise , but I would never insist.
