What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding was a very early one.
The couple had chosen their village hall for their reception as it held lots of memories for them and was in the heart of their tiny community.
On arriving at the venue it reminded me of an old army barracks but when we went inside it had been wonderfully transformed into a beautiful venue with drapes hanging from the apex of the vaulted ceiling, right across to the walls and then down to the floor.
They had dressed the tables amazingly and had golden chairs which looked stunning!
I completed the decor with gorgeous balloon table centrepieces, floor standing arrangements and a wonderfully huge balloon arch behind their top table.
It really looked magical and I was so happy for them all as the couples entire family had made their entire wedding for them including all the bridesmaids dresses with Nanny making their most perfect wedding cake.
A very memorable wedding indeed!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Professional,
Reliable,
Friendly,
Creative,
Perceptive.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm extremely proud of not ever receiving a complaint in 12 years!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number 1 planning tip is to chose an experienced professional to arrange your wedding balloon decor.
Inexperienced non professionals may be slightly cheaper but tend to let their clients down right at the last moment by cancelling their booking entirely or by cutting corners with their materials with disastrous results.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Nanny's home made wedding cake as previously mentioned!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Usually the bride to be contacts me by email for a quote, most know exactly what they'd like.
I then send a quote with photographs of my previous similar balloon arrangements.
If the bride is happy, she'll pay a £30 booking deposit to 'Save The Date'
With the balance due a month in advance of their big day.
Brides are more than welcome to email at any time and I'll always get straight back to them.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
It was a Micky Mouse themed wedding!
Lots of fun and it looked brilliant!
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Giant helium filled balloons, some with confetti inside or personalised bubbles are trending at the moment and not surprisingly as they're gorgeous!
What is your signature finishing touch?
Perfection!
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
Balloon table centrepieces are a must as they can be created in so many different and unusual ways!
