Halcyon Days Weddings Full Description
We will manage your prop hire and venue styling from beginning to end. Each bride's order is bespoke to them and their venue. We arrange set up and take down and anything in between. We can colour match table wear to your chosen colour scheme and offer a decorative floral display included within the cost of certain packages. We work to any budget small or big and love to work on the smaller weddings as much as we do the big ones. We also offer a bespoke wedding stationary offer.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Decorating my own sisters wedding. In a location that was very special to us.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I established the business after having my two girls and deciding I wanted to do something I loved. I have proud of how far we have come in less than a year and the beautiful styling and prop hire we have to offer. We are a small company looking to make our way in the world of weddings.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do you! Don't be afraid to show your personality off. This can be done in small subtle ways or as loud and proud as you like. If you don't feel comfortable with a big wedding don't have one. Small is just as beautiful.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We love to create special ways of remembering people who are no longer with the couple. This can be through words, photo's or special family items.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We would start with a face to face meeting to discuss their hopes for the day, the venue, colour themes etc. Then I would put a bespoke package quote together and if required or possible visit the venue with the couple to detail exactly what we would offer for the day. We take a deposit to secure the day (one third) and then require the balance 8 weeks before the wedding date.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
Small winter wedding. Roaring fires. Candle light.
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Rustic is always popular especially in the area we are in. But each year there is a variation. Last year we saw a lot of bright colourful flowers and accessories. This year as people are getting married all through the year we are seeing some beautiful rich colours like burnt orange, greens etc.
What is your signature finishing touch?
Our decorative flower offer really can finish off a look. We don't do anything formal but it can soften a space, add impact and an informal relaxed feel. Even a touch of just greenery really helps.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
Every wedding is different. But some time of flower, dry or fresh or foliage really can turn any venue into a special place.
