What is your most memorable wedding?
Each and every wedding is unique and lovely in its own way - way too hard to choose just one, sorry!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Unique, Elegant, Gorgeous, Quirky, Vintage
What about your business are you most proud of?
Hiring centrepieces and the designer candy bars were an original idea back in 2006, I did lots or research and couldn't find any businesses in the UK that specialized in these areas.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't worry about themes and what other people say or suggest - its all about you - the theme will be you and your style!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Anything that gets family members involved in making memories for you two!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
They contact me via email or phone call, then some couples like to come out and meet me and see our products in person so we arrange an appointment to come to the studio. Although some couples don't come out as they are happy to communicate via email. You will then have a personalized quotation emailed to you which details everything we discuss. This can be changed before or after you book so you only have exactly what you want.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
Possibly a Las Vegas themed 10th wedding anniversary and vow renewal. We made a Las Vegas Sign and Wooden Dice props to complete the the theme. They had black table cloths, quirky playing cards stationery (and cake) along with table lamp centrepieces. We sourced dice chocolates that were on the tables in little heart bowls, crystal candle holders to add glamour and we even decorated the bathrooms. They also had dancing girls and an Elvis tribute band.
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Vintage and lace is huge at the moment along with crystals and bling.
What is your signature finishing touch?
I love to make the Tiara for the bride, I get to see her dress (often before lots of her close family and friends) so that I can match the style. Each one is made by hand making it completely bespoke. This also gives the bride a chance to have something completely unique to her.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
Its not about the decorations, its about the thought and love that goes into every wedding to make it unique.
