What is your most memorable wedding?
I remember all my weddings! Working with lovely people with brilliant senses of humour.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Unique, stylish, bling, wow, romantic
What about your business are you most proud of?
The fact that I can work from home to look after our son and maintain a high level of professionalism even during a 2 year olds meltdown.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Write everything down and take loads of pictures for reference.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A small A frame board with "welcome to my mummy & daddys wedding" written by a small child. It was such a beautiful touch from a little person with shaky handwriting.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Explaining what we do and the reason why we do what we do, sampling cakes and looking at mock up displays etc. If they like what they see and would like to chat more, I always offer a meeting (either at my home or their venue) and there we can talk for hours.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
I've had a few - Country and Western (still finding hay in places) is probably the best one I can think of! Totally outside the box of your typical wedding.
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Elegance, lace and pearls
What is your signature finishing touch?
Ensuring everything is straight and being the last person to leave the room before the couple arrive. Insuring everything is perfect.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
Anything - You don't need gimmicks or to be the same as everyone else to ensure your perfect magical day
