We were asked by a couple to fill the Guildhall in Cambridge with brightly coloured balloons for their wedding. They didn't want traditional colour theme or balloon arrangements to fill the space, so we decided with them to go for rows and rows of single balloons along the large banqueting tables. The ray of colours were like the colours of Skittle sweets and they looked fantastic! . It took over 250 single balloons in rows along the tables and it really brightened up the very large hall.
Whilst we were setting up the event we thought it would be a good idea to get their wedding guests involved by releasing all the balloons up to the very high ceiling at the end of day. This created a memorable photograph for their special day. It was also a lot of fun getting all the balloons down afterwards!
Also, while we were creating the balloon decor we were treated to an Orchestra rehearsing - what an amazing privilege and something we will never forget!
Have fun. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the finer details. Remember it's a happy occasion!
Lots of handmade or personal items that mean something to you as a couple. Photographs are great and can be attached to the ribbon of balloons and used to fill the ceiling space of a venue.
We love to add tassels to our 3ft balloons. These are great for all occasions but especially for weddings as they always add a touch of style.
