Each couple receives a tailored proposal based upon your requirements - no two weddings are the same which is why don't just send out price lists. We can work with you to create a package that suits your needs and your budget. To get started please send us an enquiry.
Katie is a professionally trained and qualified Wedding Planner and started out in the industry many years ago. If you are needing both Ceremony & Reception styling, if you are having your Ceremony elsewhere and just require dressing for the Reception venue or if you are getting married abroad and will be having a celebration then we can help!
Bliss Events can provide you with a whole host of decor to hire for your special day including:
- Aisle Styling & Ceremony Decor - aisle runner, plumes & plinths, signing table florals, candle lined aisle, feature decor
- Chair Dressing - we have over 20 different colours of chiffon in our collection suitable for chivari & cross back chairs and as chair hoods on banqueting chairs. We have white chair covers and a large selection of bow fabrics and colours
- Table Decor and Centrepieces - we have three grades of Centrepieces at Bliss Events. Our Rose Range is our smallest, Peony the medium collection and Lily are our tall. All florals and designs can be customised to your colours
- Table linen / napkins / charger plates - from white and black table linen to luxury crushed velvet we can provide your table cloths and coordinating napkins should you need it. Charger Plates - we have gold beaded charger plates in our collection
- Feature decor - we have our Florence Arch / Rachel Moongate / 3 x Rustic Frame Backdrops/ 2 large fabric backdrops - Megan & Ellie which can be used to cover an area should you need too; 12 x luxury cloth backed Flower Walls and 12 x elegant Sequin Walls all with a matte finish
- A huge collection of custom designed Neon Signs in our collection - let's light it up! Plus we offer a design service for custom neon signs
- We have a range of items which we call Event Essentials which include all those extra touches - easel hire, postbox, cake stands, donut walls etc
- Vintage China Hire.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Gosh there have been so many! It's cheesy to say but we do honestly remember them all. We take such pride in working for and equally as important WITH our couples that we do get to know you over the time. We love it when a wedding really shows your personality and who you are as a couple. That can be done in so many ways and it makes the wedding even more exciting and memorable for you and your guests.

What about your business are you most proud of?
We are proud of many parts of Bliss Events. Firstly all the incredible Weddings & Events that we are a part of - every couple and every client.
We are proud to have stayed true to who we are; you get to work with Katie and yes there are many people who join on the day but that is your mainstay. We don't pass you to admin staff to handle your booking once you have signed up and she is always there on the day. Katie really does work with clients throughout and that personal, hands on approach really does make the difference. The one-to-one service means that clients often become friends and that is such an honour.
We are proud of the variety of Weddings & Events we get to do in style, venue, colours, themes - you name it we love it because we love Weddings. We love the formality of the day - you actually getting married - we love the way in which you chose to celebrate. We have been in the industry for a long time and we are proud to say we still love what we do.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have a Wedding which reflects you two as a couple; you are getting married for you and you should celebrate as you want too. It is very easy to get swept away but you have to feel your personality shines through. Nowadays you can pretty much have what you want at a wedding, quite simply anything goes!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We love to see people's having fun with a theme and really embracing their Love Story, whether they have themselves as photos as table names of countries they have visited, favourite places, bands, songs. It's all good fun! For one wedding the couples dog had a photo shoot posing with table numbers...no other wedding will have exactly that.
We love weddings where you can bring those VIPs - Very Important Pooches...I mean who doesn't want to see a dog in a bow tie?!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We really take the time to get to know you and your wedding; we take in to account your style, your colours and theme if you have them at that stage. We discuss what the venue offers, what you want to make a feature of and ultimately what is important to you. From here we build a tailored proposal and send it across to you on email and we hold the date for 14 days. We are sure you will love what we can offer and hope you will become a Bliss Client.
About 6-8 weeks before the day we will arrange a site visit if we are providing a full service and from here will discuss the whole day, where things will go etc. 4 Weeks before we will arrange for the balance to be paid and then you can give us final numbers in line with the cut off for your venue for catering purposes. You have complete flexibility to add or remove things until this point; if you want to add on the flower wall or remove a table that isn't needed you can do - everything is of course subject to availability. Then on the day we will be present onsite to setup your styling as required. We always hope to see our couples on the day so you may see us hiding in the corner trying to catch you walking down the aisle!
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
We are proud to have dressed the first Wedding at The Square which was a new venue space unveiled at Chester Zoo in May 2023. The couple were nicknamed the Moo's and they had a cow & alpaca themed wedding! We had definitely never dressed a wedding like that before.
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
We love the idea of a Lemon inspired Wedding - let's bring some of the Med to the North West. We also are down for a Disco Ball at any opportunity and trust me your guests will love it.
We love seeing couples experiment with colour; pastel weddings a big feature for us this year and we are totally here for it! Pampas is also on point and you can't go wrong with the classic white florals and foliage.
What is your signature finishing touch?
We love our statement backdrops - we have so many to choose from. Flower Walls. Sequin Walls, Arch / Moongate and our Rustic Backdrops.
We also really bring a good Neon Sign game with one of a kind Neons in gorgeous fonts.
We go big and we go bold.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
