Woody's Event Bars

Their area was always beautifully presented with a gorgeous bar, the staff never left a dirty glass hanging about and they kept all our guests very happy! I would 100% recommend Woody's Event Bars

We hired Woody's Event Bars for our wedding in August 2017 and I can't imagine any other mobile bar being better. To give an idea of the type of wedding reception we had, it was upstairs in an old building (narrow and steep stairs), with a small meeting room for their storage (shared with the caterers who also cooked in there) and they had about an hour(!) after dinner to set up the bar. We stumbled across their website just at the point we started to panic. We had looked at dozens of websites and they all had a combination of some or all of these factors: 1) The bars looked tacky 2) The beers were terrible/boring 3) The drinks were expensive 4) They had ridiculous hire fees/deposits The WEBs website immediately drew us in; no hire fees for a cash bar was pretty cool but then we saw their beer menu and as soon as I saw Beavertown's Neck Oil on tap I knew this was the right bar for us. We contacted them straight away and we had a reply that same evening. It was that first email that really made us want to commit. It was a really friendly message, not a generic 'here are our terms and conditions' email. During the planning phase Jon was really helpful and wasn't at all put off by the awkwardness of the venue. He was also absolutely fine with people drinking leftover alcohol that we had provided; we just had to make sure that the bar spend was met. We were able to choose what bottles of beer, cider, spirits and wine were available as well as having the option to choose a few cocktails, which I thought was really cool. The bar prices were also extremely reasonable for a private function in London. On the day we didn't even notice Jon and his staff were there during the setup stage, I honestly don't know how they did it so quickly and so effortlessly. Then the music/dancing part of the evening started and the bar was a HUGE hit. It looked awesome, people were really happy with the drinks options and the staff were, quite simply, incredible. They were so friendly and efficient and they genuinely seemed to be having a good time. As a groom, it was so great to see our friends chatting and laughing with the staff and I just felt that it really added to the overall fun and feel of the evening. At risk of waffling, I will try and summarise by just saying they were all perfect at every step of the way. Jon's correspondence was friendly but professional and the staff were lovely. I honestly cannot recommend them enough, no matter what type of event you're organising. I really hope this review does them justice. A massive thank you to Jon and his team!

Woody's Event Bars ran the bar at our wedding at the West Reservoir Centre in London in September and did a brilliant job. Jon was excellent the whole way through - he answered our many queries and worked closely with us to develop a list of all our favourite drinks (we gave the cocktails personalised names and they supplied ale and lager from our local brewery, Wildcard). Nothing was too much trouble - the bar looked brilliant and fitted in with our wedding theme (they even painted it pink for us!). We also hired all our glassware for the meal through them. They were a superb addition to the wedding, and very nice guys too.
