We’re The Simple Slice Pizza Co. a family run pizza business from Barford, Norfolk, bringing proper pizza to weddings right across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Pete and Lauren started out in 2019 with two pizza restaurants, then took the kitchen on the road. We’ll work wherever suits your day: our horsebox out on the lawn, inside a marquee, or from your venue’s own kitchen for a more traditional service.
We don’t do fixed packages. Every wedding is different, so we build your menu around you. That might be pizza for your evening guests, or a full sit down wedding breakfast with crockery and cutlery. We love the extras too: grazing cups on arrival, rosemary and sea salt focaccia during the speeches, salads, arancini and a dessert spread to finish, maybe even customised pizza boxes with your names and date on them.
Our dough is made by us, slowly and properly, and it’s the same dough we supply to other pizza companies, cafés, pubs and farm shops around the region.
Pizzas start from £11 each. We price per pizza rather than per head, because not every guest eats a whole pizza, so you only pay for what you need.

Do you cater inside venues or only from the horsebox?
Both. We can serve from our horsebox outside, set up in a marquee, or work from your venue’s own kitchen for a more traditional service. We’ll talk to your venue in advance and find the setup that works best.
How does your pricing work?
Pizzas start from £11 each. We price per pizza rather than per head, because not every guest eats a whole pizza. Pricing all options are on request and will be customised to your day.
Do you have set packages?
We offer two types of service if its evening pizza you're after. Either whole pizzas served to guests from our horsebox or a pizza slice buffet laid out in front. For all other options, every wedding is different, so we build your menu around you, from evening pizza to a full sit-down wedding breakfast.
Do you only do pizza?
Pizza is our heart, but we’re happy to build a full menu around it: grazing cups on arrival, focaccia during the speeches, salads, arancini and a dessert spread to finish. We can do other cuisines too.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. We have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, and we’ve catered fully gluten free weddings. Just let us know what your guests need.
Can we have a tasting?
Absolutely, and it’s free. Come and meet us, have a chat about your day and try a couple of pizzas. Bring your mum, best friend or the kids along too.
Where do you cover?
All of Norfolk and Suffolk. If your venue is outside, ask us anyway.
Can you provide crockery and cutlery?
Yes, we can arrange crockery and cutlery hire for sit down meals.
How do we book?
