Founded in 2022, The Good Loaf is well and truly a family business, run by daughter Emma, her fiancé Alan and mum Sharon. Alan was Head Baker at Bath’s oldest bakery for over 15 years and with a combined love of good food and great coffee, The Good Loaf is a team of dedicated bakers and baristas.
Working from our closed kitchen in Brislington, we bake fresh every morning before loading up our cute trailer ‘The Bun Box’ and heading out onto the road. A truly unique mobile coffee experience, The Bun Box offers speciality coffee, our handmade sweet and savoury bakes and great service.
We pride ourselves on using the best suppliers; from Wiltshire roasted coffee ‘Dusty Ape’, Matthews Cotswold Flour, local free range eggs and real British butter. Our talented baker handcrafts a wide variety of treats but our speciality (if you hadn’t guessed) is our buns. From our twist on the classic Chelsea buns, our warm and comforting cinnamon buns to zesty combos like Lemon Meringue Pie and rich and indulgent Biscoff or double chocolate, there’s a bun for everyone. We are constantly exploring new flavours and expanding our menu to offer something new to our customers.
As well as our fluffy buns, you’ll find gooey chocolate fudge brownies, chunky cookies, moist and fluffy carrot cakes and the lightest (and biggest) Viennese Whirls you’ll ever see! It’s not just sweet bakes we make; our menu also includes traditional Cornish pasties, sausage rolls, scotch eggs and bacon rolls, with vegan and vegetarian options available too. The Bun Box also offers a full coffee menu so whether it’s a rich espresso, a velvety latte or refreshing cold brew; you’ll be sure to find your caffeine fix!
Beyond our commitment to exceptional bakes and coffee, we are also dedicated to providing excellent customer service. As a family business, we truly cherish the meaningful connections we make with our customers and appreciate everyone we meet along the way.
The Good Loaf is more than just a business –
