Operating from Bowhouse in St Monans, a vibrant local food hub, they work closely with nearby butchers, bakers, and growers to ensure every ingredient is fresh and locally sourced. To focus on what the couple ultimately want for their wedding day and not get too caught up on what everyone else would like.
We had one bride who caught 180 lobsters from her family loch to serve as starter for her wedding. Very impressive, her guests loved it and what a delicious starter!
After our couples initially enquire, our event planners will arrange a time to speak to the couple and find out about their upcoming wedding and their thoughts & ideas on catering and drinks for the day. Subsequently we will put together a quote for our couples and send them this along with our bookings form. Once our couples book they will receive our planning questionnaire which their designated event planner will assist them with via email and 3 scheduled phone calls. These phone calls will cover the early stages of planning right up until the final details just before their wedding date. Our couples will also be able to book a complimentary tasting of their chosen menu when our kitchen opens to tastings during the low season.
We would wow the chefs by having an ingredient lead menu that showcases what is in season and cooking the ingredients with experience and respect. We have already been lucky enough to have our Executive Chef Amy Elles represent Scotland on 2 seasons of BBC Great British Menu! She has the wow factor and simply brings it.
We catered for a couple that met in India and had a deep routed love of Bombay cuisine which was a big push out of our comfort zones but absolutely loved it and some of the dishes and canapés have stayed on our menu.
