Sam's Kitchen Events

Sam catered our wedding in July 2020. Food is really important to me and I knew I wanted our food to be a standout feature of our wedding. From the moment I spoke to Sam, I knew he was our guy and totally understood what we were looking for. Unfortunately our plans were impacted by covid and Sam was so supportive throughout all the date changes for which we could not be more grateful. He is a delight to deal with, as were his on-the-day staff and he really knows his stuff. People are still telling us how amazing the food was and more than one person has told us that it was the best wedding food ever.

Right from the get-go we were really keen to have a big family sharing style feast, to create a really informal and fun atmosphere. I've worked with Sam (of Sam's Kitchen) previously on other events so knew he'd deliver super tasty food and be creative and great fun to work with too! Working in events it was hard to hand the reigns over but Sam and his team were exceptional. We had so many compliments not only about the food but the drinks and service too! We had aperol spritz together with bubbles for the reception drinks and Moscow Mules and Elderflower Gin cocktails on the bar for after dinner. The feasting menu consisted of Persian shoulder of lamb, side of salmon, burnt aubergine with sides of summer slaw, tabbouleh and butternut squash.

Our informal, relaxed wedding was largely achieved by the absolute stunner of a spread cooked up for us by Sam and his team. We knew we never wanted anything formal and plated, but wanted really delicious, awesome food which is exactly what we got. Sam and his team were phenomenal - I couldn't have gotten through it without them!

"�Every part of working with Sam and his team was a delight. We had several meetings with Sam to talk through our ideas, all of which were encouraged, nothing was a problem. We had a wonderful tasting session with family prior to the wedding day and the food went above and beyond our expectations. Sam was so helpful with all aspects of the catering, including menu/ alcohol/ bar/ tableware and more. In the days leading up to the wedding his team set up their kitchen on site. Roxy was integral to the preparation, from helping with the table plan to decorating the marquee. She ultimately managed the whole day, making sure everything happened at the right time. Many of our guests commented on how polite and friendly all of the staff were. We can't recommend Sam's Kitchen highly enough for any event.'
