Have just performed at their event called “Out Of Africa” and I have to say that this company is one of the best in the business, the marquee was expertly themed for Africa with exceptional detailing around all the walls, ceilings, furniture, marquee fittings etc. I was also fortunate to sample the food from a smooth running kitchen and I have to say that it looked amazing and tasted sublime… if you’re looking for a top event company, look no further, I have personally seen most of them …

I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside Red Herring in three separate occasions and have always been highly impressed by their work. The food is always outstanding, service runs seamlessly, and their professionalism stands out head and shoulders above all other catering teams. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

We chose Red Herring as our caterer as they were incredibly helpful and very quick to respond to our initial enquiry. This efficiency was continued throughout the planning process and Emma was always available to answer our multiple questions! Steve was a great help, even meeting us up in London when we couldn't get down to Dorset easily. They really went the extra mile. On the day itself the service was wonderful and many of our guests said the food was the best they'd had at a wedding.

It was a truly lovely experience to work with such professionals, nothing was a problem and everything was done with accuracy and with a smile. We always felt that we were in the safest hands. Having worked in events before we have high standards and Red Herring surpassed these standards throughout the whole process. Excellent service and amazing food for a very reasonable rate. We look forward to doing events with them again in the near future.

Red Herring provided fantastic service on the day with many people telling us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Before the event they were easy to get hold or and offered lots of advice and contacts beyond food. They were very flexible - allowing us to provide our own drinks and cakes etc and displaying them free of charge.

The food and service overall were fantastic!! Not only did they provide us with a delicious menu perfectly suited to us (after many many meetings with a picky bride!) but they also assisted our florist in making sure our venue looked as stunning as we had imagined. When we first walked into the venue, we were blown away with how beautiful it all looked! The tables and decor were exactly as we had been picturing it, and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day truly perfect!

Red Herring were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Laura was extremely polite and always responded quickly and I was never concerned that something would not go to plan. They made the planning stress-free. On the wedding day the food was delicious and all the staff were polite and helpful. We received many comments about how it was the best wedding food people have had at a wedding. The 140 meals they produced were as good as the meals they produced at the tasting.

From the moment I contacted Red Herring by email to enquire about their catering services they stood out from their competitors. Steve and the team were beyond friendly and helpful throughout the 14 month period with which we were in contact with them. The day before the wedding they took all the stress away by completely preparing the marquee. On the day, the food itself was outstanding, the service staff were truly wonderful - completely attentive but discreet. Overall it was all outstanding!!
