Portfolio Events

A massive thank you to the team at Portfolio events. They are a fabulous company to deal with. The communication was excellent from booking through to the big day. On our menu tasting day and on the wedding day itself the food was exceptional. The whole team were friendly, knowledgable, helpful and professional. Donna, especially, went above and beyond in helping us with the planning, making our day run exceptionally smoothly and ensuring that everything was perfect for us on the day. She was unflappable and did everything from finding guests to attaching button holes, as well as coordinating all our suppliers, moving pianos and making us feel completely taken care of. On the day before the wedding she was there too to help us bring our vision to life with all our decorations and little touches. We also had so many comments from guests about how they were made to feel special by the portfolio team, right down to them knowing names and what drinks everyone was having so they could keep them topped up. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Due to our venue choice we had to use Portfolio Events for our day catering… but we would choose them again without question! The food was fantastic on the day and our guests loved it! From the canapés, right through all the courses, to the brownies with tea & coffee. The communication with Adele was fantastic prior to the day and we loved our tasting and the time taken to adjust the menu to our needs. We 100% recommend!

We cannot fault Portfolio as a wedding Caterer. Magda in particular was so helpful, and helped us to add a personal touch to our wedding menu with her own family recipe for pierogi. The day went without a hitch, the food was delicious, the tables dressed beautifully and the staff on the day were incredible.

We booked portfolio for our wedding and from booking to the actual day these guys were amazing, from communication, to our tasting session, to the wedding itself. The food was impeccable and everyone at our wedding repeatedly commented on how lovely each course ways. The staff were smart, competent and attentive. Worth every penny!

Weddings can be so stressful, but a huge weight is lifted from your shoulders when you choose Portfolio Events to look after your catering side of arrangements, you are cared for from the very start of discussions right though to the very end of your special day. We cannot thank Magda and her busy team enough for the delicious food that was served throughout our day and the care and attention to detail the team gave, making everything run so smoothly on our special day. Portfolio were the preferred supplier for our venue so we started with them to make life easy. They were polite, professional and quick with very helpful responses to emails. The tasting was a lovely experience in a cosy dining room and they would leave us to enjoy the food and chat about it privately. We selected our menu and were really pleased with the quality of the choices we made. Nothing could prepare us for the food on the day though which was, without doubt, even better than the tasting courses we had been served. Tables were served promptly and cleared away and if I had a pound for every time I heard words to the effect of "that beef was amazing" then I could pay for the wedding all over again! The team served up our wedding cake after the cutting and made sure to check in with us that everything was ok. The evening food was apparently equally as delicious though I did not get a chance to try it as I was still too full from the fantastic dinner we were served. If we were holding an event in the future Portfolio would be my first port of call.
