I’d start with a classic, like a fresh, handmade sourdough base for a pizza, topped with premium ingredients such as San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di Latte mozzarella, and locally sourced produce. I’d elevate it with a unique twist—perhaps a perfectly charred crust with a drizzle of chilli honey to enhance the flavours, paired with a delicate, yet bold topping like spicy nduja or slow-cooked meats.
Presentation would be key—beautifully arranged, vibrant colours, and a touch of elegance to show that while the dish is rustic, it’s also refined. The judges would be wowed by the depth of flavour, the balance of textures, and the story behind the ingredients. I’d also demonstrate my passion for quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail—values I hold dear in my business.
