Mrs Jones Tea and China Hire

We had Gemma and Mrs.Jones Tea cater and co-ordinate our wedding back in July. The finished result was everything we had dreamed of and a whole lot more! We hired an empty village hall that with Gemma's vision became a stunning vintage tearoom, the room looked amazing with lace bunting and beautiful pom pom decorations. The collection of china she supplied was simply beautiful, she even let me pick my favourite sets to have in the bride and grooms place settings! The finer details of having Pimms in jam-jar glasses, vintage glass bottles and tea pots holding the floral centerpieces, traditional suitcases for cards and the table plan, not to mention the very popular sweet table with a selection of vintage sweets in gorgeous glass jars made everything feel so special and authentic. No detail was too much trouble for Gemma even when the bride was being particularly fussy! You'd think it would end here, but beyond all of this, the food was quite frankly delicious! Gemma advised us and we ended up with a menu that included our favourite tea time treats and catered for the masses perfectly. All the food was really fresh and again it was all in the detailing, even the sugar was heart shaped cubes! From day one we trusted Gemma implicitly as she completely understood the look and feel we were aiming to achieve, she went above and beyond to pull it all together. Every last detail was thought of and we can not recommend Mrs Jones afternoon tea and china hire enough for any event! Need to find an excuse for another tea party!

We had the most spectacular day made so perfect by Mrs Jones and her team of quiet and so, so effective waiting staff. The beautiful mismatched China and elegantly displayed cakes and sandwiches made our sparkling occasion all the more special. Mrs Jones (Gemma) was a brilliant coordinator and looked after all elements from the independent bar to ensuring that the evening caterer was in the right place and happily setting up, before she and her team left. I cannot recommend Mrs Jones Tea and China Hire highly enough. They were brilliant. 😊

Mrs Jones tea catered for 100 people at our wedding after being recommended by a family member and was absolutely outstanding, every single element was perfect. At first I was hesitant to whether an afternoon tea would be filling enough, and that was definitely not an issue as my dress got tighter and tighter on the day. I don't personally have a sweet tooth but thoroughly enjoyed scones, biscuits and rocky road; they were all handmade which made them beautifully fresh and flavourful. The day was made so easy, I didn't have to worry at all; the service was seemless. She and the staff were so friendly and professional, I would 100% recommend her services and use them again.

Mrs Jones catered a divine afternoon tea for our wedding last week which everyone raved about! Im so sad I didnt get a scone but there was so much food we had loads left over and everyone has told me how delicious it was. I quote from one of the the bridesmaids "what was in those ham and cheese sandwiches I couldn't stop myself!" Gemma was also extremely helpful in confirming all the details especially as I kept making last minute additions and I felt very confident in the planning and set up in the run up!
