Booze has been my work life for the last decade and I wanted to start my own business to bring the best producers I know to outdoor events where good booze and the sun go together so well!!

I worked for 10 years at various distilleries as a distiller and distillery manager so alcohol has been at the forefront of my working life. I was always a bit shocked whenever I was at a wedding or outdoor event with the poor quality of alcohol being served and the price it was being served at. We are in Scotland, we have some of the best alcohol makers in the world, we should be proud to serve local and drink good quality. That's our aim!

Our standard hiring fee is £350 this deposit books your day with us and ensures staff are available, this is non refundable in the event you cancel on us. Pricing for glass hire, drinks for the toast or reception will be charged separately but this is very much dependant on your requirements. We can offer our services as the following: Cash bar - Customers pay per drink as they order Open Bar - A sum of money is put behind the bar and drinks are non chargeable until it is used up

Mr Dunbars is a mobile Bar/Café served out of a beautifully renovated 1970s Sinclair horsebox. With 10 years experience working in the Scottish spirits industry we specialise in bringing the best that Scotland has to offer to your wedding, from craft spirits to cocktails and Draught Beer to wine we do it all and everything in-between. We can either create a menu we think you would enjoy or we can work with you to make sure your favourite drinks are behind the bar. We are happy to travel to almost any location within Scotland and will not only be your bar at night but will be ready to serve loose leaf teas, speciality coffees and pastries the next morning. we are very flexible and happy to help wherever we can.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Our first wedding - when we served the most espresso martinis I have ever seen in my life, we were also pitched at the top of a hill looking over a beautiful valley all evening.

That my Team and I make peoples wedding just that little bit more special

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy the process, it is a stressful one but find the joy in it.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A wedding that was supposed to be a marquee wedding had to be completely altered when the Marquee was destroyed in a storm the day before. The organisers and decorators ended up turning the house everyone was staying in into the destination and it was one of the best weddings I've ever been apart of. (same wedding as the espresso martini answer)

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to take a very relaxed approach with couples, we will swap some information based on the location and number of guests, I will find out what exactly you are looking for and then all going well we get you booked in. We then hopefully take away any worry related to the bar and alcohol side, I will organise all licenses required and we will be at the venue ready to serve whenever you want us.
