We recently held our wedding at the Mansion House and we can have nothing but praise for this venue, it was absolutely fantastic! We booked up a visit little under a year ago and we fell in love with the House straight away and booked up within the week. We were met by our wedding coordinator James Thomas. We can not speak highly enough of James’ professionalism and friendliness. From the day we met him to the email of congratulations the day after James’ was consistently excellent with us, always approachable, every little detail was covered and was so friendly it made the whole experience more pleasurable. The venue its self was beautiful. The rooms were a perfect size for the number of guests we required and the whole set up was fantastic. The fact the whole house was ours for the day/night and the following morning for breakfast made it extra special. The 5 bedrooms were gorgeous, and the gardens and surrounding grounds were stunning for some excellent photos. The staff were brilliant, the whole day ran like clockwork. They set up the different rooms for each part of the day in no time at all and every single one of them were really friendly. The food that we had was beautiful, the range of choice was superb so a huge thank you to the Chef!We would highly recommend anyone to book their wedding or function at the Mansion House. We can’t thank James and everyone involved enough for making our big day wonderful!!

We booked Mansion House for our wedding on 24th March 2018 and I can't thank the team enough for everything they did for us. The day was amazing and James was excellent at keeping in touch and arranging everything. We would highly recommend this place to others

James organised us a tasting session at the Civic Centre and we were expecting just little tasters but to our pleasant surprise we had full courses along with wine tasting. Again this made the whole experience with the Mansion House exceptional. We would highly recommend anyone to book their wedding or function at the Mansion House. Took a while to write our review, due to a assuming each other had wrote one lol. Anyway we were married here on the 16th September 2017 and it is an unbelievable venue. First of all when you walk in you are in awe of old historical decor. We were looking at places in 2015 for venues and alot of places were expensive, especially if you wanted exclusivety. Then by chance I stumbled upon this online. The pictures looked amazing so we organised a visit. Once we got there and stepped inside it got us. It was stunning, exactly what we were looking for, big enough but intimate at the same time. It is a really good layout as there are places for you to escape and chill, especially for the evening party. It is also an amazing price for what you get. The food was amazing. Secondly, the wedding organiser there, Kristina........what can I say, she is amazing. Provided so much assistance and takes alot if the stress away. Was always available when needed and communicated all of the time. Massive help. The staff at the wedding were great too, always asking us how the day was going. Everything worked like clockwork. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you Kristina.
