Can we provide our own alcohol?
At weddings, it may be possible for you to provide your own table wine, reception drinks, etc. But we do not allow you to stock a card/prepaid bar with your own alcohol for Weddings unless opting for a dry hire service.
Do you accept card payments?
Yes. We accept all cards along with Applepay, Googlepay & Contactless. Our card machines operate using a 3g/4g secure network. We can only take in-person payments. Our system does not allow over-the-phone payments for deposits or balance payments.
When do you need access to our venue?
If we have not been to the venue before, then ideally we would like to visit it beforehand. However, if that is not possible, we are happy to talk to the venue in advance. Ideally, if possible and feasible? We like to set up the day before to ensure everything is ready to go for your special event.
What are your drinks served in?
We like to serve all of our drinks in real glassware where possible; a selection of both real and eco-disposable glassware is provided with every booking. If glassware isn’t permitted, then an additional cost may be incurred if we have to provide solely eco plastic. If we have to use plastic, we always ensure that this is NOT single-use, we always look to source eco or reusable plastic and paper straws as standard.
Are you insured?
Yes. We are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance to the value of 10 million, and Employers Liability to the value of 10 million.
How far will you travel?
We cover a 50-mile radius from Norwich, Norfolk. However, we are more than prepared and quite often travel further, which may incur an additional cost.
Do you have a minumum spend?
For private events such as weddings, we try to avoid a minimum spend where possible. We sometimes charge a minimum spend under specific circumstances, such as if you are looking to provide any additional alcohol or if there is low guest attendance. This will be discussed in advance with you. Contact us to discuss this further.
What is your uniform?
We wear black polo shirts and either black or dark trousers/skirt. These are paired with branded aprons. If you require a specific uniform style, please let us know.
How do we know we can rely on your advice?
Our promise to you is simple: we will always be transparent and honest. We are not the cheapest mobile bar hire in Norfolk or Suffolk, and we won’t pretend to be. There are cheaper suppliers out there, some reputable, some not, and it’s important to understand the difference. We will never be disingenuous. If there are more cost-effective ways to achieve your wedding bar plans, we’ll outline them early in our conversations and provide advice to help you realise your vision, even if it means potentially losing a booking. The wedding world is full of wonderful people, but truthfully, it also has suppliers who are less than open.
