Rustic, street food, hearty portions, professional
The feedback from customers. It means everything to us and every review and late night thank you really makes all the hard work worthwhile.
Don't put pressure on things that you can't control being perfect e.g. weather, it will all come together on the day.
Personalisation and sharing each others version of 'how they first met', 'their engagement' and 'what they hope the wedding day will be'.
Customers will enquire and if interested to find out more we will meet with them (we pencil in the date at this point), after we have met we will send a formal quote and it gives them an opportunity to see if we are the right caterers for them, if they want to book we ask for a fee to save the date and if not we ask they let us know so we can open up the date to others. At the beginning of the wedding year we send them information for how it works which includes asking for an event sheet to be complete with all the information we need for the day, we also ask them to confirm their final numbers and food choices. Sometime we may have an online or telephone appointment to go through everything. They can change these up to 6 weeks before there big day.
Tasty food, cooked well and served in a rustic style and with lots of sides that allows them to make it their own - food is such a personal thing, there is not one dish that will suit everyone which is why our menu is designed for guests to have several options to make the meal they want.
It varies the street food is our style and when we have people/family try their traditional dishes and compliment us its a very proud moment. We had the Caribbean themed wedding which included our big pan street food Caribbean curry with rice and pea and all the guests loved it.
Cheese - We have savoury cheesecakes and the Godminister heart goes on top for the couple to then take home and share together post wedding.
Being professional and being prepared. We often find we are the preferred caterer for places due to this. Its a basic but at a wedding you can't be anything less.
