Capital Cooking Full Description
Capital Cooking has a wealth of experience in events. Founded nearly 10 years ago by professional chef Imogen Krupski, Capital Cooking has grown through word of mouth. We ensure that every plate of food we serve is utterly delicious. Whatever you’ve got in mind for your big day, we can work with you to create a menu that reflects a style and budget that will suit you perfectly, as we know that your wedding day is incredibly important. From our initial meeting through to the site visit, tasting and then the big day itself we can be involved every step of the process ( as we appreciate it can be a little daunting!). Whether you’re imagining a traditional three course wedding breakfast, evening buffet, canapé reception or something a little more unusual, we can make it a reality. We don’t have to just supply the food, however - because we work with the best in the business, we’re uniquely placed to be able to help you plan the day you’ve always dreamed of. We know where to find perfect venues, stunning cakes, gorgeous flowers, and fabulous evening entertainment. We can hire marquees, pick out and supply the crockery, linen and glassware to match your venue and your theme, and make sure the day is well-staffed by our highly-skilled, professional team. Here at Capital Cooking we are passionate about we do and are renowned for our fabulous food, attention to detail and professional staff. Give us a call so we can have the opportunity to help make your wedding day truly memorable. “We just want to thank you so much for basically being responsible for making our wedding day so amazing. FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

My own! Although I'm probably a little biased. My team and I organised absolutely everything for the wedding from finding the perfect venue through to the band and wedding cake. It was all perfect (the food was out of this world!) and my team were amazing.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Professional, elegant, friendly, passionate, delicious

What about your business are you most proud of?

The professionalism of the team that I have built up over the years. No job is too small and they will ensure that every aspect is planned down to the tiniest of details so client's can enjoy their big day. I'm always really proud of them when I see the food that they produce.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Get as much help as possible! There is a lot to plan and it can easily take over your life but you must remember to enjoy to process so trust your suppliers and let them do most of the planning!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The uncle playing the bagpipes as the bride and groom arrive at the reception.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We would initially have a chat on the telephone so I can find out more about their special day. This would be followed by an initial quote and I would then invite the bride and groom to a tasting at our kitchen, so they can sample a variety of menus and pick out what they like and don't like. It usually involves a glass or two of bubbly and is a great way to chat more about the day. We continue to work very closely with the couple up until their wedding day, so that the day is exactly what they want.
