My own! Although I'm probably a little biased. My team and I organised absolutely everything for the wedding from finding the perfect venue through to the band and wedding cake. It was all perfect (the food was out of this world!) and my team were amazing.
Professional, elegant, friendly, passionate, delicious
The professionalism of the team that I have built up over the years. No job is too small and they will ensure that every aspect is planned down to the tiniest of details so client's can enjoy their big day. I'm always really proud of them when I see the food that they produce.
Get as much help as possible! There is a lot to plan and it can easily take over your life but you must remember to enjoy to process so trust your suppliers and let them do most of the planning!
The uncle playing the bagpipes as the bride and groom arrive at the reception.
We would initially have a chat on the telephone so I can find out more about their special day. This would be followed by an initial quote and I would then invite the bride and groom to a tasting at our kitchen, so they can sample a variety of menus and pick out what they like and don't like. It usually involves a glass or two of bubbly and is a great way to chat more about the day. We continue to work very closely with the couple up until their wedding day, so that the day is exactly what they want.
I think it would have to be a dessert. I have a very sweet tooth! It would not only look stunning but once they tasted it, everything would be OK - I hope ;)
The groom's drink of choice was Hendricks Gin so we created a Hendricks Gin and Tonic granita as the palate cleanser. We made it with cucumber juice and it went down pretty well with the guests.
Everybody loves a molten chocolate pudding, don't they?
