The Wedding I did at Coed Weddings venue, it was absolutely incredibly decorated and was so unique and quirky. I loved it!
Unique, bold, abstract, friendly, modern
I'm proud of the community of clients I have built and that when I've created a couples wedding cake, I see them again for birthday cakes, baby shower cakes and their children's birthday cakes. It so special to be part of these events.
Create a wedding day that you want, try not to get taken in by other people's opinions and demands. It's your day!!
At one wedding, the place settings were cartoon pictures of the guests with a nod to their personality. For example, someone was a golfer so the cartoon was of him swinging a golf club. It was very clever.
Step 1 - couples get in contact with details of their day I.e date, venue, number of guests and design preferences.
Step 2 - once availability is confirmed, I give my couples a few quotes of different options for the cake they're looking for.
Step 3 - book my couples in for a cake tasting box to be collected (due to covid)
Step 4 - couple confirms if they would like to proceed and then a deposit is required to secure booking.
I have two signatures:-
Textured Buttercream
Abstract buttercream design
This is actually a cake that I have coming up at the end of this year. The theme is a non wedding, wedding cake! It's a black and white abstract cake with gold and silver leaf scattered. The guests are wearing black tie and long sparkly gowns. I'm excited to create something so unique.
My mum was a wedding cake designer when I was growing up and as I got older I then started to help with her creations. However, she was diagnosed with arthritis which affected her hands so couldn't continue. My great Nanna who was Greek was an incredible Baker and she used to visit all the schools and restaurants in South Wales to grade them on cleanliness and nutritional value. I still use a lot of her recipes now that have been passed down.
Ooooo what a question!! It would have to be something tiered and grand that looked like a really expensive oil painting, covered in trailing blooms.
