One bride had a very vintage themed wedding, but wanted yellow sunflowers subtly dotted around in memory of her Grandad. She did this incredibly well without taking anything away from the rest of the decor. We even had one on the cake! A lovely nod to her Grandad.

Ideally if the couple are available a consultation and tasting session is the best place to start, trying different flavours and drawing up a design for the cake, then we keep in touch in the run up to the wedding, sometimes meeting up again, to finalise all the small details.

I made a beautiful abstract Peacock Wedding Cake - 5 tiers high with mini cake coming out from the bottom in the shape of a peacock tail, with sugar quills representing the feathers and crest topper and with subtle hand piped henna tattoo detailing to the back to symbolise the brides Arabic heritage.
