What is your most memorable wedding?
It's really hard to pick a most memorable, there are far too many & I am just so grateful to play a small part in so many couples happily ever after's.

Current, traditional, romantic, elegant, clean
What about your business are you most proud of?
I started my business some 10 years ago, with a second hand mixer & nothing but will and determination to succeed, creating for family and friends & working around my young children, until around 4/5 years ago when I registered my business to pursue my dream.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
No1 tip is to book suppliers early, even if you don't have all the details figured out, the more time you give yourself & your suppliers, the better the experience & outcome.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love to see a couples personality shine through. eg - love a festival? choose a woodland wedding & use festivals as your theme.. from barrows of beer to food stalls, out door bars & wellies for your guests, there is so much scope to really bring 'you' into your décor & theme to create a memorable day for all.

From first contact to set up, Trula Marie's Little Cake Company will endeavour to make the perfect cake with a personal touch for your event. Trula would love to host a consultation to discuss your vision for your special day. Together you will discuss your wedding style, before Trula provides sketches for your approval & creating a refined design that reflects your desires. Trula also offers Samples so you can explore delicious flavours and create a delectable cake worthy of your celebration & the stunning centre piece every couples cake should be.
What is your signature cake?
Here at Trula Marie's Little Cake Company our signature style is clean & classic, oozing Luxury.
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
We have created many styles throughout the years but our most original design would have to be vintage books with a Shakespeare theme or a book topped with a skull. We always say, 'Your cake, your way!'
Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
Some years ago my eldest daughter was diagnosed as cow's milk intolerant, we've come a long way in the last few years on the high-street but back then, treats such as cake really weren't readily available & so when she asked me for a 'proper' birthday cake, the researching & making seemed to trigger what turned out to be a wonderful creative, soul soothing journey, in which I taught myself the incredible skill of cake creation & sugar craft with Free From & Vegan always at the heart of why I do what I do. I quickly realised that Wedding cakes is where my passion really is & haven't looked back since.
What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?
I love to make handcrafted Sugar flowers & so I would have to say, my show stopper would be something clean & classic, maybe a less is more look with statement sugar florals for the added wow factor.
