We are delighted to have Laura from Nuthouse Bakery as one of our preferred suppliers at Stanbrook Abbey hotel. Laura is always professional, quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. Not only this her cakes are to die for! The passion, dedication and attention to detail that Laura gives is second to none. Laura is extremely creative and I have seen so many different styles and tasted some delicious flavours over the many years of working together. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Laura is simply amazing!! The whole experience from start to end was incredible. We went to meet her and we were just blown away by her creativity and her friendliness. And the taste of her cakes! It was the best part of wedding planning for sure. Laura bought our dream to life - I wanted a cake that was classy, but also included elements of our favourite geeky films and she absolutely pulled it off. Laura was also able to provide for dietary requirements - we had a few vegan and GF guests whom we didn’t want to miss out, so Laura created some cupcakes that matched our cake. Laura sent us updates along the way as she created the cake which was really handy - as a stressed out bride it helps to know everything is under control, and it’s also fun to watch the vision come to life! Not only did the cake look amazing but it tasted so good it even got mentioned in our wedding guest book. It’s still being raved about! Thank you, Laura :)

Laura created our 4 tier wedding cake, each tier a different flavour. For someone who has a sweet tooth and eats lots of cake, I had high aspirations for our wedding cake. It’s safe to say Laura exceeded all expectations and the cake was not only beautiful to look at, but tasted absolutely incredible. We were lucky enough to save some of the bottom two tiers which we have frozen in our freezer. We’ve since eaten some and it tastes just as good and fresh as it did on the wedding day! One of my bridesmaids has even booked Laura for her wedding because the cake was so divine. Thank you Laura!

Definately!! Laura did our cake for our wedding, we had the white chocolate ganache and carrot cake and OMG it was out of this world. I have a sweet tooth anyway but this cake made me think about cake allday everyday until it was gone. Honestly they were both the best cakes I have ever tasted so rich, full, light, fluffy and thats just the inside, the outside was absolutly stunning we had a shimmer on the icing which was beautiful. We opted for an elegant cake with flowers, which Laura arranged herself. Laura also included an ingredients form and allergy information. Thank you very much, I think about your cake every other day lol. Best of luck in the future

A HUGE thank you to Laura for our stunning wedding cake. Not only did it look amazing, a real showstopper, it tasted incredible too. We had so many comments from our guests about how fabulous it was and it looked perfect in pride of place next to the Christmas tree. Laura was great to work with, and the teasing “in progress” photos and videos that she sent to me the day before the wedding really helped to build the excitement for the big day. What a lovely and talented lady?! Our Wedding cake was beautiful to look at, especially our custom made penguin cake toppers ❤ all 3 flavoured cakes tasted equally as delicious and we're chuffed to have some in our freezer ready for our 1st Anniversary next year.
