I would have to say the most gorgeous venue at Kensington Roof Gardens, the couple were so lovely, the bride looked incredible and the groom looked extremely dashing like something out of the magazines, the cake was set up in the centre of the reception with beautiful gold drip, macarons, sugar flowers and a musical score around the middle tier, the groom was musician and there was live music playing outside while the guest were mingling, the whole experience from the start of meeting the couple to arriving and setting up at this most amazing venue, the bride timed it so she could see me and the cake as they entered the room after the ceremony the whole affair was absolutely breathtaking .

I work very differently from other cake designers, I do not do formal consulations where you sit down and discuss over a table, everything is documented online via email or facebook, the brides contact me with their ideas, I design and quote for them, I then deliver samples to them so they can enjoy them in the comfort of their own home, once the deposit is paid I keep in contact with you up until a month before the wedding then I liaise directly with the venue, so this is all taken care of, the week before the event I finalise everything with you and tell you my movements on the morning of your wedding. Everything is taken care of so all you have to do is remember your vows kiss dance and eat cake ! xxx

The most original design I would say would be a tea pot pouring flowers which cascaded down the side of the cake into an edible teacup.

One of my clients recommended me to her friend who was due to get married who had been let down by her cake maker, I couldn't say no I felt so awful for the bride to be being stranded and stuck at short notice, so when I finally got over my nerves I said I could help and that they say is history !

My show stopper would be a 4 tier naked cake adorned with fresh berries and flowers cascading down dusted in icing powder ooozing with Vanilla Buttercream and homemade preserve. The scent of my victoria sponge is divine. You always start to eat with your eyes so this would definately be the one I would choose.
