Visited for a cheese board and wine for my grandads 85th birthday. Excellent as always. EDIT: We are so pleased with everything that my brother has ordered his cheese stack for his wedding here and my sister will be doing the same once she's sorted dates. Very professional and happy to walk you through choices and recommendations

The best cheese around. We take a 90 minute round trip here every few months because the cheese is so amazing. We got our wedding cheeses here and all our guests remarked on how good they were. They had great suggestions for a range of cheeses, suitable crackers and jellies to go with. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We wanted a wedding cake made from cheese and The Cheese Plate was recommended to us by our wedding venue (The Barn at Alswick). We met with Hope for an amazing cheese tasting session where she stepped us through all different variations of cheese we could choose for our cake. Hope listened to exactly what we wanted and created a cake that was just as we imagined. The flavours of each cheese were just exceptional, even our guests commented on the high quality taste.

We consulted with Hope to do a tasting for a cheese tower for our wedding and it's one of the best decisions we made. We love our savoury food and the final stack was very well received by us and our guests. All the cheeses we chose were delicious! Communication was friendly and clear, and we were also very pleased with the delivery and set up of the cheese tower, along with tasty chutney accompaniments. Would definitely return again in the future to try more products. Hugely recommend!

I first met Hope from The Cheese Plate through work so when it came to ordering some cheese for our wedding I knew we had to give her a call. We visited their gorgeous shop for a private cheese tasting (how did I not even know this was a thing before?!) and were treated to so many gorgeous combinations of cheese and accompaniments. Hope was so knowledgable taking us through different options and recommended pairings. We got married three weeks ago and our guests are still raving about the cheese

We couldn't recommend the Cheese Plate enough. Toby & Hope were amazing with helping us pick our wedding cheesecake, which looked and tasted fantastic. All of our guests loved it and even better we had a lot of cheese left to enjoy on our mini moon after the wedding. The cheese plate supplied cheese for our sons wedding....went down a storm, especially the brie. Need more for Christmas now!
