What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding would be the first wedding cake that I made. I actually made my own cake. It was the biggest cake I had ever made and I still love it to this day!

What about your business are you most proud of?
The thing that makes me most proud about my business is that I launched it officially after having my first son. I wanted to work from home so I could raise him. I’m now mum to three boys and have a thriving business whilst being able to watch them grow
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make your wedding all about you. Don’t try to please everyone. Your day is a chance to showcase your couple style and everyone should embrace that
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I did a cake for a couple who held a music festival over 3 days for their friends and family. It was so relaxed and chilled just like them. The festival vibe was cool and individual with lots of pictures placed about
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to have a video chat to find out ideas you have and then see pictures you have collated of what you like. Then I come up with a design and work with you to make it perfect. I offer taster boxes to give you an idea of what’s on offer and then closer to the day we have another chat to finalise all the small details. I coordinate delivery with the venue and any other suppliers such as florists.
What is your signature cake?
My most popular flavour is my lemon blueberry cake. It’s surprises many couples when they try it and is a real crowd pleaser
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
I created a gothic wedding cake for a couple who gave me a few ideas and let me run with it and it was featured in rock n roll bride
Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
I have always baked. As a child it was something I did at home a lot. My grandmother was also a baker and I use her rolling pin today.
As a hobby (and a feeder) I liked to create bakes for friends and family. More and more people would request cakes. As the years went on I started it as a side hustle and eventually whilst on maternity decided to give cake making as a business a go. It took off and from celebration cakes to wedding cakes seemed like a natural progression and it’s where my passion lies
What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?
I would love to create a 3D unicorn or mythical creature!
