What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding was for a lovely couple, who ordered a traditional three tiered wedding cake with rose and foliage decorations. As we were sitting up their wedding cake in the reception venue, other venders kept coming in and out with countless sci-fi memorabilia. At one point, we were asked 'Where is the Tardis going?' as a man carted in a life size replica. It was such fun seeing a couples vision come to life and seeing their personality create a magical evening for themselves and guests alike. Once the wedding cake was set up and looking beautiful, we were asked to top it with a personalised cake topper of a Cyberman and Wookiee model, smartly dressed in wedding tuxedos. It really was the icing on the cake - perfection.

I built my business from the ground up, starting with just a few celebration cakes, to a full time job, booking numerous wedding cakes and events.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Go with your gut instincts. You’ll know if a vendor is right for you - it’s important that you can work well together, so the outcome is the absolute best it can be.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My process starts with a simple chat, usually via email. We will discuss different ideas budgets and flavours, and I'll send you one of our taster boxes, with 6 different flavours to try. Once you've chosen your flavours and put your deposit down, we'll start talking design. I'll ask for inspiration from favourite colours and cakes to Pinterest boards, and create a bespoke design for just for you.. If needed, adaptations will then be made to make sure I've got it completely right for you. I'll then bake your cake from scratch, decorate it by hand and delivery it personally, to make sure everything is taken care of on your big day.
