Philippa Rose Cake Design

We met Pippa at the Dundee wedding fayre at Caird Hall early last year and instantly knew she was who we needed to make our wedding cake. She won us over with her lovely friendly personally and absolutely delicious cakes that we were able to sample. Her communication throughout the design process made it stress free and the final product was just out of this world. Guests were so enthusiastic about the cake both from seeing it and eating it! Pippa - the best person who can make your dream cake come to life but 100 times better than you ever imagined! From the first time we met with her to on the day, she was absolutely amazing. She created a cake not only in our colour scheme but also matching my wedding dress! The flower details were absolutely beautiful as well. If you're lucky enough that she is free on your date then you best believe you’re going to get a cake you never knew could exist! Thank you for everything!

The whole way through the process she was so helpful and communication was great. She sketched a design based on our discussions which really helped bring our vision to life. We were so happy with the finished result and were in love with the whole cake, especially the marble effect for our bottom tier. The colours matched perfectly to the colour scheme we had for our day. We would recommend Pippa in a heartbeat. Thank you so much again for our perfect cake!

Pippa made out wedding cake and it was absolutely stunning! The flowers on the cake were amazing and looked like real flowers! Everyone loved the cake and we are still enjoying it. What can I say…WOW!! Pippa made my absolutely stunning cake for my wedding and we could not have envisioned anything more beautiful. I contacted Pippa after researching local cake makers and she instantly stood out. From our first meeting all the way through to designing, she was so helpful and professional. Pippa was able to sketch a design that was exactly how we envisioned and incorporated Australian flowers into the design to give a nod to our Aussie background. This was a major highlight for us as the flowers are edible - many people thought they were fresh flowers! We were so happy with the finished result and all our guests commented on how delicious the cake was. We would recommend to anyone!

Scheduling a tasting session was easy, and the flavours were delicious. The design process was simple and straightforward. Pippa did a great job turning our abstract vision into a concrete reality by sending over sketches and revised versions based on our feedback. We don't live in Scotland so most of our communication was virtual; despite the distance, Pippa was easy to communicate with and very receptive to our opinions and requirements. The cake turned out beautifully! Highly recommend!

Pippa was a true professional right from the start. We had the sample box to try flavours and then had a long virtual chat to discuss our vision for our wedding cake. On the day the cake was so much more than we could have imagined. It was a piece of art with hand crafted sugar flowers and thistles adorning a three tiered cake with each tier a different flavour. The cake tasted amazing! And we had so many comments that it tasted as incredible as it looked. We would highly recommend Pippa!

Pippa designed our cake for our wedding day 16/10/2021 we wanted a bridal looking cake with a hint of Harry Potter & autumn so quite specific! Pippa was incredible from start to finish & was very excited to get started on our cake which kept the excitement going for us too! On the day itself Pippa set up the cake beautifully & WOW what a show stopper of a cake it was, even better than we ever imagined, it’s like she dipped into my brain & executed everything we were looking for.

LOVED our cake. It was exactly what I was thinking of and each layer tasted amazing! It’s a piece of art and Pippa is not only talented but a lovely human too! Nothing was too much trouble, and she was amazing at putting my vision to life and matching the fondant to my wedding colours which I loved! The sugar flowers were beautiful and looked so real!
